Audibel Products Support The Starkey Foundation

Our Preferred Manufacturer: Audibel

Many hearing aid centers fit hearing instruments made by a variety of manufacturers. Since the advent of programmable, and now digital circuitry, the top manufacturers each have a line of hearing instruments that fit nearly every hearing loss.

When Hear In Kentucky first opened in 1992, the owners made a commitment to use only products from the best hearing aid manufacturers and to become experts in the hearing instruments they recommend to their clients. For that reason, we work almost exclusively with one manufacturer, so we can devote all the energy necessary to know their products inside and out.

Our manufacturer of choice is Audibel; however, we support and service all hearing instruments to the best of our ability, whether we have fit them or they were purchased at a different hearing center. In the unlikely event that a client needs a hearing instrument from a manufacturer that we do not normally carry, we will provide them with the help they need.

Audibel’s mission is to meet or exceed each Audibel customers’ expectations for improved hearing acuity and a better quality of life. Audibel consistently strives to produce hearing aids known for their high quality, superior reliability, and innovative digital hearing solutions. Your complete hearing satisfaction is Audibel's goal and reward.

Audibel Centers for Hearing Excellence consists of a national network of highly trained hearing health care providers in the United States. The Audibel team consists of more than 2,000 dedicated hearing aid specialists with one common goal: to provide the best possible hearing care solutions.

Today, an eclectic group of celebrities, entertainers and politicians benefit from Audibel hearing technology. Audibel continues to be the choice of many notable Americans. Take a moment to read how Audibel has made a difference in their lives.

Audibel Products Support The Starkey Foundation

Hearing impairment is a national and international issue that has no boundaries.  Since 1973, Starkey has been giving the gift of hearing to the world’s underprivileged—especially children—through its internationally recognized mission program, the Starkey Hearing Foundation, and its domestic program, Hear Now. The Foundation works in the United States and across the globe for one simple reason: there is no feeling like being in a room with a boy who for the first time in his life is able to hear his mother say the simple words, “I love you.”

Every year, the Starkey Hearing Foundation conducts more than 150 hearing missions in countries stretching from the U.S. to Peru to South Africa to Vietnam…"So the World May Hear."  These missions include fitting people with free hearing instruments and providing education about hearing loss. Since the year 2000, the Starkey Hearing Foundation has touched more than 65,000 lives worldwide.

While there is much work still to be done, the Starkey Hearing Foundation has brought the gift of hearing to people, mostly children, around the world thanks to the help of our many volunteers and donors. In 1973 Bill Austin started The Starkey Hearing Foundation with a simple premise that still holds true today: "Giving is easy. Giving is exciting. The challenge is to increase your ability to give. Alone we can’t do much. But, together we can change the world."

Today, the Foundation is empowered through the strength of thousands of volunteers and donors across the globe. The support of these individuals has enabled the Foundation to spread the gift of hearing to the hearing impaired by giving away more than 20,000 hearing aids every year. Everything the Starkey Hearing Foundation is able to accomplishes is because of one person – you.

A world with sound is a world of endless possibilities. If you understand the vital importance of hearing in an individual’s life and to their family, we encourage you to do whatever you can. Every little bit counts.  Click here to see how you can help.

Quote from Bill Austin, Founder

"It is important for us to help children because they are the future of the world…and if we neglect our children, we can’t have a good future.  This is a very special thing that we do:  they’ll always remember our caring…and our reward is in the faces and smiles of each person as we help them hear again.  It is our best work because it’s helping people, and that’s what life is about…we truly live through what we give – we live on into the future through our gifts back into our community and to humanity"
